Registering with the MRTB?

PROCEDURE REQUIRED FOR LICENSING
 
PLEASE READ THROUGH THE ENTIRE PAGE VERY CAREFULLY

 
There are two categories of licensing with the Board.
  1. First Time Registration
  2. License Renewal.
 
If you are registering with the Board for the first time, please take note of the following IMPORTANT requirements.
  1. Original and photocopy of academic certificate obtained from a Board-accredited institution.
  2. Original logbook
  3. Letter of completion of internship
  4. NYSC Discharge or Exemption certificate.
  5. Prescribed fee for registration which is 20,000 naira.
 
There are three ways through which you can renew your license.
  1. Renewal by self – This involves visiting the Board by yourself.
  2. Renewal through a third party.
  3. Online Renewal.
 

  1. Requirements for Renewal by Self.

  1. Photocopy of the previous or expired license.
  2. Evidence of CPD attended in the last twelve (12) months totalling 30 credit points.
  3. A recent passport photograph.
  4. Evidence of payment of NSP dues/Confirmation with the NSP president.
  5. Evidence of payment of applicable license fee.
 

  1. Requirements for Renewal through Third Party

  1. Letter of Authorization to the Board from the registrant, with valid identification of the third party.
  2. Photocopy of the previous or expired license.
  3. Evidence of CPD attended in the last twelve (12) months totalling 30 credit points.
  4. A recent passport photograph.
  5. Evidence of payment of NSP dues/ Confirmation with the NSP president.
  6. Evidence of payment of applicable license fee.
 

  1. Online Renewal

  1. Scanned copy of the previous or expired license.
  2. Scanned evidence of CPD attended in the last twelve (12) months totalling 30 credit points.
  3. A scanned copy of recent passport photograph.
  4. Scanned evidence of payment of NSP dues/Confirmation with the NSP president.
  5. Evidence of payment of applicable license fee.
  6. All of the aforementioned documents should be sent by email to registration@mrtbnigeria.org.ng. You are advised to copy profileupdate@mrtbnigeria.org.ng and call 08060618337 or 08023099072 to notify the Board of your email.
NOTE
  1. For registrants who have not renewed their license for one year or more, please note that you are to pay an additional fee of two thousand naira (2,000) for every year without a renewal. Also, please confirm with the registration department (registration@mrtbnigeria.org.ng) the total payment required of you.
  2. For registrants with less than ten (10) years of working experience, the applicable fee for renewal is 10,000 naira.
  3. For registrants with ten (10) or more years of working experience, the applicable fee for renewal is 15,000 naira.
  4. For online renewal, please send scanned copies of the prescribed documents to registration@mrtbnigeria.org.ng.
