LICENSE RENEWAL
The MRTB License is an evidential document which shows the endorsement and permission of the Board to a professional practicing one/any of the professions regulated by the MRTB.
The licensing renewal process is KEY for every professional practicing and of the professions regulated by the board. It is an annual process, without which any registrant practicing without a license would be considered a malpractitioner/quack.

License Renewal Period Extended
We're introducing a new licensing option!
Previously, our licenses were valid for 1 year, requiring annual renewals.
Now, we're offering the convenience of a 2-year license!
With this new option, you can pay for a 2-year license and enjoy the benefits of biennial renewals.
For the next two years (2025 and 2026), both 1-year and 2-year license renewal periods will run concurrently.
However, starting from 2027, the 1-year license renewal period will be phased out.
This means that from 2027 onwards, all license renewals must be for a 2-year period.

Verification of CPDs
Verification Process!
CPD acquired from MRTB recognized institutions/bodies will be accepted for license renewal. However, CPDs from unrecognized institutions/bodies will be verified including those done abroad or locally, to ensure they meet the Board’s standards. This includes verifying the credibility of organizers and the content of training programs.
Letters of admission for MSc and/or PhD must be accompanied with evidence that the course has been taken within the period CPD is expected to be done.
Plan your CPD activities carefully to ensure they meet the Board’s requirements.
